help me learn this

Putting hope in how other people treat you, in relationships, money, success or accomplishments, fun times, feeling good, looking good, being/doing good, a hobby or interest, making a good impression/being liked, yourself, your plans, or in anything other than God leads to pain, heartache, anxiety, loneliness, anger, disappointment, confusion, and despair. Putting hope in God and His promises leads to peace no matter what the circumstance.
